OFFICER Michael Rosenbalm
Officer Michael Rosenbalm recently joined our Monroe Police Department as a full time patrol officer. Rosenbalm is originally from Liberty Township, and graduated from Lakota High School. From that point he knew he wanted to go into this field of work. He went on with his dreams and earned his associates degree in criminal justice at University of Cincinnati.
This patrol officer has worked for Miami University for 1 year patrolling the campus, 4 1/2 months for Fairfield Township, and is currently with Monroe's Department for 5 months now. Having these qualifications and such experience in his new position encourages Officer Rosenbalm to prolong his career here with the city of Monroe.
Rosenbalm is pleased to be working in an area well known to him, and with a police department as great as ours. I got the impression that he and his family will take part in the Monroe Neighborhood Watch program as soon as they get settled in. After talking about the Neighborhood Watch Program, he wanted to make it clear that community should, "Never hesitate to call 911, it could save a life." Besides that being a quote from the interview, he also wants this safety tip to be remembered by the readers.
