CHIEF ERNEST HOWARD
Ernie has been a police officer since September of 1961.  He started as a police officer with the City of Middletown Police Department and retired in June of 1990 as a Deputy Chief.  Ernie retired Middletown to take the position as Chief of Police for Monroe.  He has attended the Southern Police Institute at the University of Louisville, Miami University studying Police Science and has been a certified instructor with the Ohio Peace Officer Training Council.
