OFFICER ERIC WALTON
Eric joined the Monroe Police Department in 1991 as a Cadet and became a Police Officer in 1993. Eric enjoys working with teens and currently serves as head advisor for the Monroe Police Explorers Post. He and his wife, Cathy, have a daughter, Alyssa and a son, Jacob.

SAFETY MESSAGE
Next time you decide to go around railroad crossing gates, consider this; It takes an average freight train more than five eighths of a mile to stop when it's going 30 mph and about one and a half miles to stop if it's going 50 mph. And remember, trains are always moving faster than you think. Drivers who try to beat these trains are usually going to the same place - the cemetery. Play it safe - Look, Listen, and Live.
